Glenn Richardson

I was born in Brisbane, and have lived here all of my life.

As a teenager in the 1970’s, I became a big fan of 70’s music, and remain so today, although I enjoy popular and optimistic music from the 1960’s through to today as well.

My profession is managerial, and I have held many roles in property and development. I have been a Real Estate Agent, Truck Driver, and various other occupations, including being a pizza maker and hotel staff member in my younger days.

I became interested in radio when I won a competition on a commercial Brisbane FM station in 2001, and was a guest there on a number of occasions. The work they did, the technology they utilised fascinated me, and the personalities I came to know were nice, friendly people.

In 2007, I was fortunate to be introduced to 101FM as a client, and voiced ads for my employer. At that time I learned that they were offering a presenters course, and elected to do that.

The 101FM family is a great place to belong, and I love presenting music programs for our listening audience, especially Saturday Night Party Mix. I fill in for Drive & Bright & Beautiful hits occasionally as well, and enjoy every single program I present.
