Ian Day  - Jnr Vice President Country     Sundays 7am to 10am

Hi I was born in Brisbane on the 31st of August 1939. I went to Kedron State School. Upon leaving school I worked as an Assistant Projectionist at the Imperial Theatre at Lutwyche. I spent the next 14 years working in Theatres in Brisbane, including the Wintergarden, the Eldorado in Indooroopilly and the Boondall Drive-In Theatre. From there I was moved to the Stardust Drive-In Theatre in Ayr (North Queensland) as Manager. When T.V. arrived and Theatres began to close everywhere, I thought a career change was in order. In 1968 I joined M. S.S. Security Services and have spent the last 30 plus years in the security industry. I have worked in radio previously and been involved in video production and voice over work.
