at the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary and The American Bear Association
The American Bear Association (ABA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of the black bear, other wildlife, and all natural resources through a better understanding. The ABA's primary goal is to become a premier educational facility and instill a new appreciation of and respect for black bears, as well as the habitat that supports all wildlife. From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, approximately 21,000 visitors viewed the wild black bears at the Sanctuary this past season.
Ever thought how wonderful it would be to work outdoors among large wild mammals? This is what we, at the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary, are privileged to be able to do every day from the Spring to the Fall.
The RSPCA Foster Program is one of our most important tools when it comes to giving animals a second chance at life. Last year RSPCA volunteer foster ‘parents’ around Queensland cared for more than 2,000 animals, taking them into their homes and providing them with care.
Our Participants and the Animal Species that they stand in the frontlines to provide a "voice for, are spread far and wide. Our dream to unite across the globe is growing fast and we are so proud to represent them and their struggles, for the Animal Kingdom and their habitats. Hands are joined from Australia to Asia Pacific, Arctic, Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Antarctica and some Islands of the Atlantic Ocean.
If you think about it.... the globe itself can also be seen as an island of many different corners of life, if you imagine you are looking from outer space ... our planet Earth is a fragile place- it can be violent with natural disasters, dangerous with wars and terrorism and yet, a big ball of blue mixed with colours of the rainbow would make it look so inviting, from so far above.
We need YOUR help to join in on humanity, for unity, peace and for a better existence on planet Earth- please, won't you join us? Noah's Legacy will take you around the globe to experience the work that our Participants call 'love'.... A better planet for ALL of us... the circle of life we are all connected to.

Harrold's Forest is a tree planting program created in honour of Harrold (read his story below), and it is a marvelous way to help replace koala habitat. You can choose from a number of programs, and whether you plant one tree or 500, you will have made a difference to the long term preservation of the wild koala. Every one who plants a tree in Harrold's Forest will have their named added to the online Honour Board!
